Owner of Sanfilippo Baseball and 6th year as head coach of MSOE.
In his tenure, Sanfilippo has led the Raiders to an era of prosperity which has included the first run of three-straight 20-win seasons in program history and berths in each of the last three NACC Tournaments. In 2016, the program made its first league tournament appearance since joining the NACC in 2008.
MSOE has won 70 games over the last three seasons, breaking a school record for wins in a season twice with 24 in 2016 and 25 in 2018. The team also finished .500-or-better in three-straight campaigns for the first time since the early 1980's.
This past season, the Raiders finished in the top three of the NACC Tournament for the third-straight season, a run which included a trip to the 2016 NACC Championship.
Luke was a 4 year starter in centerfield at UW-Milwaukee, where he holds school records for most career hits and stolen bases. Luke earned All-Horizon League honors all four years at UWM, including two appearances on the 1st team his freshman and senior seasons. He played for the Madison Mallards and the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods League in 2013 and 2014. Luke stole 23 bases with the Chinooks, 2nd most in single-season franchise history. Prior to UWM, Meeteer attended Middleton High School where he was a 1st Team All-State outfielder in both his junior and senior seasons. Meeteer was also an all-state football player.
Tyler started out as a pitcher for Mankato, MN and moved into semi-pro. He owns a 3-0 career won-loss record with one save, a 4.50 earned run average while striking out 24 and walking 12 in 32 innings pitched for his college career. Drafted and signed with Philadelphia in 2016 (31st round (917th overall) in Major League Baseball Draft). Frohwirth played for the Mallards in 2016. He then got traded to the Miami Marlins in 2017. His father played 9 seasons in the MLB and then become a professional scout.
Named Northern Athletics Colligate Conference Pitcher of the week in 2016. Bock appeared in a team high twelve games making seven starts for the Sabre pitching staff. He finished the season with a 3-5 record, worked a team leading 62.1 innings – recorded 34 strikeouts – finished with a 3.90 earned run average and made season debut throwing 8.0 innings. Jordan then became a Head Throwing Coordinator for Johansen Baseball and Interim Head Baseball coach at Harper College before joining us in 2020.
Long started his college baseball career as a catcher at MATC-Madison where he held the career RBI record until 2019. He then transferred after 2 years to UW-Milwaukee. Ben was awarded 2nd team all conference as a designated hitter and finished his college career with a batting average of .342 He also was one of two players to start all 59 games, 8 home runs and 55 runs batted in. He also played for both the Madison Mallards and Wisconsin Woodchucks.
Alana, a DII University of Mary Softball Alumni, joined our staff in 2017. Alana is originally from Washington State. Norman played both infield and outfield and was a lefty slapper. She holds 1-2-3 records: ranks 1st in stolen bases, 2nd in total hits, and third in runs. She also helped coach the Milwaukee Admirals Fastpitch program in 2019. Not only does she help the softball division Norman got her degree in marketing and helps run social media for Sanfilippo Baseball.
