About the Baseball Lab WI

Located in Mequon, WI, The Baseball Lab WI provides a state-of-the-art facility for baseball and softball players. The facility includes two tandem baseball cages, turf flooring for fielding, pitching machines, and all the equipment you need to run an efficient and effective practice. We have several coaches of different backgrounds to serve a wide variety of players.

Luke Meeteer

HITTING / FIELDING COACH

Luke was a 4 year starter in centerfield at UW-Milwaukee, where he holds school records for most career hits and stolen bases. Luke earned All-Horizon League honors all four years at UWM, including two appearances on the 1st team his freshman and senior seasons. He played for the Madison Mallards and the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods League in 2013 and 2014. Luke stole 23 bases with the Chinooks, 2nd most in single-season franchise history. Prior to UWM, Meeteer attended Middleton High School where he was a 1st Team All-State outfielder in both his junior and senior seasons. Meeteer was also an all-state football player.

Mason LeBreck

PITCHING COACH

Mason LeBreck was a 4 year starting pitcher for the MSOE Raiders, Graduating in 2021. He appeared in 26 games throughout his career, making 13 starts with a record of 4-5, striking out 76 batters and ending his career with a 3.57 ERA. Being a key player from either the bullpen or as a starter, Mason was able to come up in big situations and get the job done. He brings high level intensity and focus that allows him to be successful. Mason had success with his fastball, change up, and slider during his time at MSOE but ask about his secret curveball...

Ben Long

HITTING/CATCHING COACH

Ben Long spent three seasons in a UWM uniform, batting .322 with 16 home runs and 112 RBI's in 127 games. He was tabbed for Second-Team All-Horizon League honors as a DH in 2008 and is one of just three players all-time to hit three home runs in a game. He is also a member of the 20 year decade team.

Trevor Schwecke

HITTING / FIELDING COACH

Trevor worked his way from a walk-on at UW-Milwaukee in 2016 to a 13th round draft pick by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2019. With his time at UWM, Trevor held a career .322 batting average with 40 doubles, 7 homers, and an OPS of .837. Defensively, he was a semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace award in 2019, which recognizes the top shortstop in all of NCAA Division 1. To begin his professional career, Trevor was nominated as a mid-season NWL all star in 2019. Trevor missed almost all of the 2021 season due to an injury, but moved quickly through the Blue Jays system in 2022 where he hit .230 with 10 homers; he began the season in High A Vancouver and finished the season in AAA Buffalo. He logged a perfect fielding percentage in AA New Hampshire, and an overall fielding percentage of .978 across three affiliates. Trevor was versatile in the field, starting games at all infield positions as well as left field and right field.

Nathan Ebersole

HITTING / Fielding COACH

Currently, Nathan plays Division 1 baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a middle infielder. Prior to UWM, he spent two years at Madison College under Coach Davenport where he helped lead the Wolfpack to the JUCO World Series in 2021. He has also spent time in the Prospect League and the Northwoods League during the summer of 2020 and 2021. In high school, he played for Hitters Baseball and was a First Team All-Conference infielder at Whitefish Bay. Hit .333 and was a perfect 11 for 11 in stolen bases during his senior campaign at Whitefish Bay en route to a 27-3 record. Nathan hopes to spread his knowledge and passion for the game to the next generation of ballplayers.

Sean Meyer

HITTING / CATCHING COACH

Sean Meyer was a five year starting catcher/utility player at Marian University. Over that time he appeared in 157 games. Sean left Marian University with records in at bats and hits, while tying the record in career doubles. He was also third in career ranks for total bases and tenth in games played and triples and ended his career with a .389 average which placed him 6th in Marian history.

Trevor Cho

HITTING / FIELDING COACH

Graduating from Homestead High School in 2015, he was recognized as a 1st Team All State Infielder and contributed to his team’s State Runner-Up position in 2014.

His baseball journey continued at the collegiate level, with stints at St. Cloud State University and UW Whitewater, where he honed his skills. Cho also gained valuable experience playing in prestigious summer leagues, including the New York Collegiate Baseball League and the Alaska Baseball League.

In 2019, he transitioned to coaching, joining STiKS Academy in Waukesha, WI, where he excelled as the head coach for the 2023 graduating class and Academy Recruiting Coordinator. Under his guidance, several players secured commitments to top collegiate programs, including SEC, Big East, Conference USA, MAC, Ivy League, and Summit League commitments.

In 2021, Cho led Madison College to the NJCAA Division 2 World Series with a remarkable 45-14 overall record. His coaching journey continued at Missouri State University, where he contributed to notable achievements, including a Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship and impressive team statistics.

Prior to being named Field Manager for the Chinooks, Cho was the hitting coach for the Chinooks in the summer of 2022, and played a pivotal role in player development, leading to draft selections and signings.

Currently, Cho is an Assistant Coach at Madison College.
